The cookie jar, the prayer jar...the sweet surprises inside the jar. The curious one in the photo is me as a baby, almost a year old...back in the 1960's!!!
Last night my eldest daughter tried to post a prayer request, yet I think I messed it up as this is my new page! She is off to another country on a mission trip today. She had some things and I am adding some! Pleas pray for safety, unity for the team, the people they are serving and surrounding community and that they will be a blessing, pointing others to Jesus. Thank you! Carol
WELCOME! STOPPING BY? WHY NOT PRAY FOR SOMEONE OR ADD A REQUEST? HAVE AN ENCOURAGING WORD, A WORD OF PRAISE? LEAVE IT ON THE COUNTER IN THE PRAYER JAR! WHEN OTHERS STOP BY THEY CAN READ YOUR NOTE AND JOIN YOU IN YOUR REQUEST OR PRAISE! OR... JUST STOPPING BY TO REST? WHATEVER THE REASON...MAY YOU BE BLESSED!
Prayer has been an important part of my life, since I was a young girl. When I was in College and about the time I started my family, I realized a deeper call to prayer. My prayer is that this place will be a place of prayer. A place of praise.
A place to share prayer requests, praises, poetry and such things.
I would like to think of the kitchen above as the stopping place we are gathering at to share. So with some imagination let's leave our notes on the counter! In ...THE PRAYER JAR!
